1.We saw in Barbarians Crew some new faces and you are probably the team with the best coverage overall. How do you see all players and what is your opinion for the team now ?
Georbits : In the coming months, we have a very busy schedule ahead, which is why we decided to expand our squad - to ensure we always have strong player availability. Naturally, bringing in new faces comes with a bit of initial chaos. We’ll need some time to adapt, give everyone enough playtime, and build the chemistry that’s essential for our style of play. It’s also important for us to integrate the tactical concepts we work on during training into real matches. This is an investment we’re making now, and we’re confident it will pay off in the future.
Your team participated in some pre-season tournaments, maybe you did the most compared to everyone else and probably you have good vision now about Barbarians Crew. How do you see the team now in terms of gameplay ?
Georbits : At the moment, we’re facing some challenges. The pre-season tournaments have been extremely valuable in exposing our weaknesses and showing us where we need to improve. In terms of gameplay, it feels like we’ve taken a step back since the summer - not only have we struggled to make progress, but at times it seems like we’ve even lost some of the good habits we built last season. I don’t believe the new FC26 is the main factor here. Yes, the game has its differences, but that’s not really where our struggles lie. The good news is that over the past week, we’ve shown clear signs of improvement. I’m optimistic that we’re slowly but steadily rediscovering our old style and habits, which are essential for us to push forward.
We see that you continue to play 3-5-2. I guess you will stick to this formation further. Do you plan for something else or not as formation ?,
Georbits : The 3-5-2 formation is fundamental to the concepts we train and apply in our gameplay. However, we’ve noticed that at times it can make us a bit too predictable, and it also limits our flexibility with certain squad options. That’s why we’re planning to experiment with a couple of alternative formations next season. This will give us a reliable backup plan, especially when key players are unavailable for specific positions. We’ll see how it develops.
You are considered by many players for one of the favorites in Bulgarian Proclubs. What is your commentary about this ?
Georbits : I would agree that we’re among the favorites - if not right now, then that’s definitely our goal in the near future. At the same time, there are at least two other teams in Bulgarian Proclubs that deserve the same label, so I expect the upcoming season to be very competitive. I also wouldn’t rule out the possibility of new teams stepping up and challenging at the top level. If we want to truly belong among the elite, we’ll need to keep improving and raise our game. Thank you Jore. Good luck to Barbarians !
